Draft

Privacy policy

DRAFT. Not in force. [OPERATOR NAME], [CONTACT EMAIL], and [ANALYTICS TOOL] are placeholders. Do not treat this page as a finished policy.

JapanLanded is an estimate and information site. It does not sell goods, hold inventory, take payment, or ship parcels. This draft describes the site as it is built in the repository on 2026-10-15.

Who would publish this

Operator: [OPERATOR NAME]. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL]. Both are unset. Until they are filled in, this draft has no named controller.

What the server sees

The estimator runs in the browser. The price, category, destination, and weight you type are not sent to JapanLanded. This site does not store an account, an order, or a history of estimates. The host that serves the pages can still see an ordinary request log, such as the page address.

A rate limit counts requests per IP for about one minute, in memory during local tests and, when deployed, in a Cloudflare Durable Object keyed by that IP. The count is not a profile. The Worker is not deployed from this repository.

Analytics and cookies

Analytics tool: [ANALYTICS TOOL]. None is installed. The site does not set a tracking cookie for advertising. If an analytics tool is added later, this sentence has to name it and say whether a consent step is required.

Referral links

Affiliate programs are not enrolled. Outbound links are public pages. If a referral URL is added later, the affiliate disclosure already on the site has to stay visible. Alcohol categories do not receive a referral link.
